YuSu (雨粟输入法) - Last Updated: July 2026

Welcome to YuSu. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using this software.

1. Acceptance of Terms

YuSu (雨粟) Input Method ("the Software") is developed and operated by SafeX Inc., a non-profit organization based in New York, USA, built on open-source content. By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Software.

2. Description of Service

The Software is an input method tool that provides the following features:

  • Local keyboard input and candidate-word suggestions
  • Optional cloud input (network hot-word queries)
  • Optional voice input feature (see Section 5)
  • Optional KeyLockr cloud sync
  • Professional dictionary downloads and theme schemes

We continuously improve the Software and may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time without individual notice.

3. License

Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on your own devices. Certain components of the Software are built on open-source projects and are governed by their respective open-source licenses.

4. User Obligations

When using the Software, you agree to:

  • Comply with the laws and regulations applicable in your jurisdiction
  • Not use the Software for any unlawful, infringing, or abusive purpose
  • Not reverse-engineer the Software for malicious purposes or circumvent its security mechanisms
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Software or our servers
  • Take responsibility for the content you input through the Software

5. Voice Input Feature (Optional)

When you use the voice input feature:

  • When you select a local SenseVoice or Qwen3 engine, recording and transcription occur on your device and the audio is not uploaded.
  • When you actively select online nova-3, the recording is uploaded to YuSu over HTTPS and forwarded to Deepgram's nova-3 service for transcription.
  • The audio is used only for that online transcription. YuSu does not persist the recording or use it for model training.
  • Speech recognition results may contain errors due to accent, background noise, technical terms, and other factors. Please verify the output before use; transcription results are for reference only.
  • For privacy details regarding voice audio processing, please see Section 3 of our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The name, logo, interface design, and non-open-source code of the Software are owned by SafeX Inc. or their respective rights holders. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved. Personal dictionary content you input or create belongs to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software is error-free, uninterrupted, or meets all of your requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SafeX Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of data or profits) arising from the use of or inability to use the Software. As the Software is provided free of charge by a non-profit organization, our aggregate liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

9. Third-Party Services

The Software may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as KeyLockr cloud sync). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for the conduct or content of third-party services.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. For significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and publish the update on our website. Your continued use of the Software after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Termination

If you violate these terms, we may suspend or terminate your access to the relevant services at any time. You may also stop using and uninstall the Software at any time. The sections on intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, and limitation of liability survive termination.

12. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Governing Law. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, USA, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your place of residence.

Informal Resolution. Before bringing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at infosafex.cloud and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.

Binding Arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or the Software that is not resolved informally shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable rules, rather than in a court of law. The arbitration shall be seated in Orange County, New York, and judgment on the arbitrator's award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.

Class Action Waiver. You and SafeX Inc. agree that each may bring claims against the other only on an individual basis, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, representative, or private attorney general proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or otherwise preside over any class or representative proceeding.

Jury Trial Waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you and SafeX Inc. waive any constitutional or statutory right to sue in court and to have a trial before a judge or jury, electing instead that all disputes be resolved by arbitration as set out above.

Severability. If the Class Action Waiver above is found unenforceable as to any claim, that particular claim shall be severed and adjudicated in a court of competent jurisdiction in Orange County, New York, while all remaining claims proceed in arbitration.
